The Oklahoma State University Sports Media Summer Camp offers practical experience
in broadcasting play-by-play, production and print journalism with experienced
professors and professionals, including Dave Hunziker, the voice of the OSU Cowboys,
and guest speaker Holly Rowe, ESPN Reporter.
Activities:
Daily activities will center on preparation, practice and opportunities to use newly acquired skills in actual sports media events. Campers are scheduled to work a live
sporting event while learning the basics of play-by-play. Each camper will also have the opportunity to experience sports reporting for both broadcast and print media.
Camp Schedule:
Camp begins Wednesday, June 11 at 4 p.m. and will conclude on Sunday, June 15 at noon. A detailed camp itinerary is available on our Web site:

Eligibility:
Participants must be 16 or older, and there is no upper age limit. Space is limited, so apply early.
Shirts:
Camp shirts will be provided to all participants. Indicate your shirt size on the registration form.
Residence Halls Information:
All camp participants will stay in the Residential Life Deluxe Suites. Each suite consists of four bedrooms with living area, kitchenette and two restrooms. One camper per bedroom. Linens and towels are provided.
Awards Brunch:
The camp will conclude with an awards brunch on Sunday, June 15 at 10 a.m. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend. Please indicate the total number attending
(including the camper) on the registration form below.

Fees:
Cost of the Sports Media Summer Camp is $675 for overnight campers. This fee includes all meals, housing, transportation, camp insurance, shirt and tuition. Residence
hall space is limited, so register early. Cost of the camp for day campers is $575. This
includes the same as above, minus the housing.
Scholarships:
A limited number of full scholarships are available for qualified minorities. Applications must be received by March 28. To apply, please fill out the scholarship application

Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Requests for refunds must be made two weeks before the camp starts. A $50 processing fee will be assessed to participants requesting refunds.
